The Sangre De Cristo Electric Association (SDCEA) offers the Energy Efficiency Credit Program, a rebate program which offers incentives for heat pumps, water heaters, appliances, and LED lighting.

New and replacement water heaters are also eligible for rebates under this program. Water heaters are eligible for a $30-$50/unit rebate.

The ENERGY STAR Appliance Program provides rebates on refrigerators/freezers, clothes washers, and dishwashers. Customers must submit a receipt and an application signed by an SDCEA representative within 180 days of the equipment purchase. 

 SDCEA also offers rebates for commercial LED lighting. Contact SDCEA for more information on this program.

To apply for these rebates, customers should contact the SDCEA Member Services Department to set up a site inspection and fill out the necessary forms.
