Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) offers a variety of rebates for residential customers who install energy efficient equipment in eligible homes. Prescriptive rebates are available for smart thermostats and water heaters.

All equipment be ENERGY STAR certified at time of purchase and have a Uniform Energy Factor of 3.09 or greater and/or Energy Factor of 3.24 or greater.
